Hong Kong, China, won bronze in the mixed relay triathlon at the Asian Games on Monday, extending its medal streak in the event to three consecutive editions. Competing at the Gamagori City Triathlon Venue, the Hong Kong team of Cade Wright, Oscar Coggins, Bailee Brown and Robin Elg clocked one hour, 27 minutes and 25 seconds, finishing just under a minute behind hosts Japan. China took gold in dominant fashion, with the national team completing the race in one hour, 25 minutes and 54 seconds. The mixed relay features teams of four – two men and two women – with each athlete completing a full swim as well as bike and run legs before tagging the next teammate. KEPCO to keep electricity rates frozen for Q4 despite higher costs

State-run Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO) said Monday it will keep electricity rates unchanged in the fourth quarter despite higher raw material prices and its financial difficulties. The adjusted fuel cost, a key component of electricity rates, will remain at the maximum level of 5 won per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for the October-December period, KEPCO said. KEPCO has kept the adjusted fuel cost at 5 won per kWh for 18 consecutive quarters since the third quarter of 2022. The adjusted fuel cost is set before each quarter within a range of plus or minus 5 won per kWh, based on energy prices, including coal and liquefied natural gas (LNG), over the previous three months.
