The Immigration Department on Friday said it is fully prepared for the upcoming opening of the redeveloped Huanggang border crossing, with officers ready to provide efficient and convenient immigration services. Director of Immigration Benson Kwok has conducted a site inspection at the new port to ensure all immigration facilities are operating smoothly. The department reminded eligible Hong Kong residents who wish to be among the first to experience the new clearance process on opening day to pre-register for the "collaborative inspection" self-service lanes through the "Hong Kong e-Channel" mobile application.
